We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Intermediate to Senior level Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join our Environmental team on a full time basis. We have a well-established and sustainable client base and a range of exciting ongoing projects being delivered from our Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast offices.
Based in either our Maroochydore or Gold Coast Office, you will be part of a dynamic team assisting with a range of environmental, waste and contaminated land projects and will be responsible for tasks associated with the acquisition, interpretation and presentation of environmental data, both on site and in the office.
Our Environmental Team also works closely with our Geotechnical team to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions. We work for a diverse range of local and national clients meeting their needs with investigations and assessments for a wide range of project types.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting and/or managing general field investigations including soil, soil vapour, groundwater and surface water monitoring programs.
- Data management, interpretation and reporting.
- Preparing and adhering to site-specific health safety and environmental plans to mitigate or eliminate risks to our client and their personnel and our staff, and the public.
- Preparation of reports, proposals and cost estimates.
You will be qualified with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering or a related discipline and have relevant industry experience in contaminated land. You will need to enjoy working outdoors and have a current manual drivers licence. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good problem solving skills and the ability to relate to a diverse group of people across disciplines.
